Dr. Levine specializes in integrating mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy with a “here and now” existential approach to treatment.
Dr. Levine believes there are many good reasons to start therapy. Maybe you are feeling stuck in life. Maybe chronic anxiety or depression is taking away your ability to be happy. Maybe you want to improve the relationships in your life. Maybe you want to increase your self-awareness and maximize your potential. Maybe you need healing from a traumatic event. It can be intimidating to start the process, and it can also be the best decision you ever made. Dr. Levine welcomes starting the conversation.
Dr. Levine works to balance providing concrete tools that will help a client feel better, in addition to developing a supportive and compassionate therapeutic alliance to help a client move towards life goals. In addition to being a licensed psychologist and supervisor of doctoral students at a local university, Dr. Levine has been practicing as a yoga and meditation teacher for over ten years. If you are interested in yoga and meditation, this can absolutely be integrated into the work done with Dr. Levine.
